upGrad GSP hosted its Global Connect Fest event, bringing together recruitment partners to learn about unique offerings from schools and universities in Asia-Pacific, Europe and North America.
Hyderabad, India – upGrad GSP, a leading global marketplace for international education, held the upGrad GSP Global Connect Fest on 28 September 2024 at the Park Hyatt Hyderabad in India. The event allowed our recruitment partners to connect with our institution partners from Australia, the UK, France, Spain, Canada and the USA.
Led by our Vice President for Recruitment Partnerships – India, Mayank Manohar, and organised by our Director for Institutional Partnerships – South Asia, Shivali Mehendale, upGrad GSP drove positive outcomes within the community by facilitating engaging discussion panels and collaborative sessions among attendees.
The one-day program began with introductory remarks from the upGrad GSP team. Senior GTE Associate Jaspreet Kaur introduced the South Asia team, which mainly comprised the Hyderabad office. Meanwhile, Mayank presented the company’s global representatives and talked about future plans. Attendees were also welcomed with special video greetings from CEO International Myleeta Aga Williams and Vice President for Recruitment Ali Butt.

The event had two panel discussions. The first dialogue showcased Australian institutions: CDU, Kaplan, UWA and UTS College. The second discourse highlighted global institutions: Trent University, IGS, EAE, UoG and Atlantis University.
In the afternoon, recruitment partners got to sit down and interact one-on-one with our institution partners, making for closer exchanges and higher-quality networking. Institution partners took this opportunity to share their admissions procedures, programs, campus culture, scholarships and visa requirements (e.g. Australia’s Genuine Student requirement).
